What you'll do

  • Define and drive the AI research agenda to create competitive advantages in private markets analytics.
  • Develop AI-driven methods for pricing and comparable selection using unstructured text and embedding models.
  • Enhance nowcasting and cash flow forecasting capabilities using modern machine learning and LLM-based models.
  • Design and deploy agentic AI workflows to accelerate the transition from research concepts to products.
  • Automate high-value recurring tasks such as market commentary generation and model parameter re-estimation.
  • Translate complex AI research advances into scalable, client-facing solutions for institutional investors.
  • Represent the research team in client engagements and through published research materials.

What we're looking for

  • Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Computational Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 10+ years of experience in applied AI/ML research or quantitative research with a track record of deploying models in production.
  • Deep expertise in Python and modern ML frameworks including large language models, RAG, and deep learning.
  • Proven ability to manage a research agenda from hypothesis through model development and client-ready delivery.
  • Strong communication skills to present complex methodological concepts to senior stakeholders and institutional clients.
  • Preferred knowledge of private markets, asset management, or institutional investment analytics.
  • Preferred experience with unstructured data including NLP, document parsing, and web extraction for financial problems.
  • Preferred familiarity with agentic AI frameworks and rapid prototyping tools.
