What you'll do

  • Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas.

  • Use AI tools to explore concepts, generate ideas, and accelerate content creation.
  • Participate in user research activities and synthesize findings into actionable design recommendations.
  • Identify usability issues and implement improvements based on user feedback and data.
  • Contribute to design systems, UX standards, and accessibility best practices.
  • Apply principles of trustworthy, transparent, and responsible AI design.
  • Present design work to stakeholders while clearly explaining design decisions and recommendations.

What we're looking for

  • High School Diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Provide a portfolio demonstrating UX design projects from research and problem definition through final solution.
  • Demonstrate understanding of user-centered design principles and design thinking methodologies.
  • Experience creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using tools such as Figma.
  • Familiarity with modern AI tools like IBM Bob, Claude, Copilot, or similar technologies.
  • Knowledge of usability, accessibility, and inclusive design principles.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly in writing and speech.
  • Ability to work onsite in Austin at least three days per week.
