What you'll do

  • Generate a proactive outbound pipeline through email, phone, and social outreach to book new opportunities.
  • Conduct deep discovery and qualification using the MEDDPICC framework to identify high-confidence deals.
  • Deliver tailored narratives and live demonstrations that map product capabilities to measurable business outcomes.
  • Develop formal close plans with customers while maintaining high accuracy in CRM forecasting.
  • Lead high-stakes contract negotiations and pricing discussions to secure multi-year consumption commitments.
  • Position the platform by communicating fluently on cloud economics, usage-based pricing, and modern data architectures.
  • Partner with internal teams like Solutions Architects and Customer Success to accelerate deal cycles.

What we're looking for

  • Must have 5+ years of experience closing complex Enterprise deals in a consumption-based or usage-model environment.
  • Must possess expert discovery and qualification skills using MEDDPICC or equivalent frameworks.
  • Must be able to deliver executive-level presentations and demos that link product capabilities to business outcomes.
  • Must have a proven track record of negotiating multi-year, high-ACV contracts while protecting margins.
  • Must demonstrate technical fluency in observability, security, vector/traditional search, and cloud cost optimization.
  • Must be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Solutions Architects and Customer Success.
  • Experience at an open-source or developer-centric infrastructure company (preferred).
  • Familiarity with observability or security analytics use cases (preferred).
