As an Engineering Technician 4 within the Global Products Group, you will support the design, test, modification, and assembly of electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, and specialized test equipment. Your daily responsibilities involve performing system and component level troubleshooting for electrical and mechanical subsystems while conducting fault isolation to remedy malfunctions. You will interpret schematics, diagrams, and layouts to inspect materials for surface defects and measure circuitry using precision measuring instruments, microscopes, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and other specialized test apparatus. Collaborating with development engineers, you will also assist in creating and troubleshooting prototypes and models. The role requires proficiency in computer-based data systems and Microsoft Office software. This position provides critical technical support for the engineering of etch and deposition products within the semiconductor industry.
