Engineering Program Manager

What you'll do

• Lead multiple Spine New Product Introduction programs from initial concept through commercial launch.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities across R&D, Marketing, Sales, Quality, Regulatory, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
• Translate customer feedback and clinical insights into technical requirements, design inputs, and development priorities.
• Develop project plans, resource forecasts, risk assessments, and critical path metrics to support program governance.
• Resolve complex development challenges by evaluating trade-offs and making critical technical and business decisions.
• Oversee product verification and validation activities to ensure products meet user needs and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with surgeons, sales representatives, and external partners to ensure market readiness and clinical understanding.
• Mentor engineering team members while ensuring compliance with quality systems and development processes.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or another engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of engineering design and development experience.
• 3+ years of medical device experience in spine, trauma, orthopedics, or dental applications.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience leading product development programs through commercialization.
• Experience working within FDA-regulated environments under applicable quality system requirements.
• Experience using CAD tools like Creo or SolidWorks and PLM systems like Windchill or Agile.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred); Master’s degree in Engineering or MBA (preferred).
• Work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment.
