Engineering Lead Technology Controls

What you'll do

• Manage and develop multiple professional teams, including performance evaluations, hiring, and disciplinary actions.
• Drive the design, development, and architecture of application systems in coordination with end-users.
• Prepare and present regular project reviews and status updates to senior management and business leaders.
• Oversee budget management, strategic planning, and policy formation for the department's technology initiatives.
• Manage disaster recovery plans, including overseeing testing and providing permit-to-operate for new applications.
• Ensure all projects comply with regulatory reporting requirements, internal policies, and risk management standards.
• Define and implement best practices to ensure consistency across various development teams.

What we're looking for

• 15+ years of relevant experience.
• 8-10+ years of managerial experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred.
• PMP Certification, MBA, or specific business licenses (preferred).
• Experience with financial products and knowledge of industry competitors' products and services.
• Advanced knowledge of the strategic direction of the function within the relevant part of the business.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and demonstrated leadership, management, and development skills.
• Technical expertise in Python, Java, Angular, AI/ML (LLMs, RAG), Data Engineering, Microservices, and DevOps.
