What you'll do

  • Handle energetic materials and electromechanical systems while following strict safety protocols and electrostatic discharge controls.
  • Perform routine testing, troubleshooting, prototype building, and environmental testing based on technical schematics and diagrams.
  • Assist engineering with the development, fabrication, and modification of mechanical and electrical designs.
  • Provide required documentation and traceability to support DCMA oversight activities and hardware buy-offs.
  • Participate in hazard analysis and safety programs including HOPS reviews and PPCB activities.
  • Maintain work areas in compliance with FOD, ESD, and 5S standards.
  • Analyze test and production data to recommend improvements for components, procedures, or documentation.

What we're looking for

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of manufacturing, assembly, or test experience in a controlled or safety-critical environment.
  • Ability to read and work from schematics, diagrams, layouts, and technical instructions.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow detailed procedures while maintaining accurate documentation and traceability.
  • Ability to maintain 5S, FOD, and ESD standards in the workplace.
  • Commitment to strict procedural compliance when working around hazardous operations and energetic materials.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
  • A Secret security clearance is required for start.
