What you'll do

Design complex mechanical assemblies and fixtures for PCBA and product level test systems using professional CAD tools.
Develop electromechanical systems including pneumatic and manually actuated components with tight tolerances.
Create thermal management solutions such as heatsinks for RF systems and contribute to PCBA and harness designs.
Source materials, equipment, and products by working with rapid fabrication teams or third-party suppliers.
Integrate all mechanical designs into the company's PLM system.
Design and implement next-generation test systems to ensure repeatable and robust product testing.
Train technicians on the operation of specialized equipment.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
3+ years of hands-on mechanical engineering experience designing for test and/or manufacturing.
Experience with sheet metal design, 3D printing, and CNC machining.
Experience with PCBA test fixturing design and integrating electrical components into mechanical assemblies.
Proficiency in MCAD tools such as NX, SolidWorks, or CATIA.
Working knowledge of GD&T and familiarity with PLM systems like Teamcenter.
Familiarity with electronics test equipment including load cells, strain gauges, and multimeters.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (preferred).
5+ years of hands-on mechanical engineering experience designing for test and/or manufacturing (preferred).
Experience with mechanical systems related test such as thermal or vibration (preferred).
Active Security Clearance (preferred).
