The Electrical Test Engineer joins the Sentry Hardware team within the Air and Ground Deterrence division to support the development of integrated robotic systems for multi-domain situational awareness. The role requires expertise in troubleshooting complex board designs using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and thermal chambers. Key technical skills include proficiency in Altium Designer, scripting languages like Python or Matlab, and familiarity with standard interfaces such as Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, and USB to ensure mission-ready reliability for critical infrastructure protection.

What you'll do

Serve as the primary point of contact for all electrical testing activities.
Provide hands-on and in-field support for prototype and production-level products.
Execute full-cycle PCB design from initial requirements and schematic design to final integration.
Troubleshoot complex hardware designs to identify root causes and implement improvements.
Optimize the selection and integration of high-power components based on size, weight, power, and EMC requirements.
Develop technical documentation for design requirements, test coverage, and formal test reports.
Validate electrical systems for long-term reliability, manufacturability, and testability in mission-critical environments.

What we're looking for

Minimum 3+ years of professional experience.
Ability to design digital and analog electronics from concept through production.
Experience troubleshooting hardware to find root causes and implement improvements.
Ability to complete full cycle PCB design including schematic design, layout, and validation.
Ability to develop clear documentation for requirements, specifications, and test reports.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (preferred).
3+ years of experience testing and troubleshooting complex board designs and products (preferred).
