The Electrical Test Engineer joins the Air Dominance and Strike Electrical Engineering Team to develop high-reliability avionics, embedded processing, and power systems for Group 5 air vehicles and missile platforms. In this role, you will create test systems for development, qualification, verification, and validation while managing concurrent projects through lab, ground, and flight tests. You will participate in design reviews, provide input on design choices, and conduct root cause analysis to support vehicle integration and field operations. The position requires expertise in designing electrical harnessing for rugged aerospace or military applications and familiarity with common bus interfaces like CAN, Ethernet, RS422, RS232, and MIL-STD-1553. Preferred skills include experience with Altium ECAD tools and programming test software using Python, PXI, cDAQ, and cRIO to solve complex problems in autonomous air platforms.
Create test systems to support all phases of product development including qualification and validation.

Manage concurrent involvement in multiple projects at various stages of the development lifecycle.

What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in an electrical testing lab environment.
Proficiency in designing electrical harnessing for rugged commercial, industrial, aerospace, or military applications.
Familiarity with common electrical bus interfaces including CAN, Ethernet, RS422, RS232, and MIL-STD-1553.
Excellent communication skills.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Experience familiar with aircraft avionics module vendors and component suppliers in UAS programs (preferred).
5+ years of experience in programming test software such as Python, PXI, cDAQ, or cRIO (preferred); 5+ years of design experience with Altium or other ECAD (preferred).
