What you'll do

Define and document electrical system-level requirements and traceability for multiple product lines.
Architect, test, and integrate modules and subsystems into full vehicle systems including hardware selection.
Conduct root cause analysis to support vehicle integration and field operations.
Perform developmental testing of complex electrical subsystems and interactions.
Create test systems to support all phases of the product development lifecycle.
Develop communication architectures for CAN, Ethernet, and serial-based electrical devices.
Design power and signal interconnections through block diagrams and harness schematic drawings.
Maintain system design documentation including functional block diagrams and interface control documents.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Aerospace, or similar field).
5+ years of experience with design and testing of integrated hardware and software systems.
Experience planning, writing, and executing test procedures.
Familiarity with common electromechanical components like electric motors, solenoids, thermocouples, and RTDs.
Experience in design for signal integrity and power integrity.
Familiarity with electrical bus interfaces including CAN, Ethernet, RS422, RS232, and MIL-STD-1553.
Ability to read wiring schematics, use CAD software, and operate electrical test equipment like oscilloscopes and multimeters.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Understanding of DO-160 or MIL-STD 461/704 standards and familiarity with aircraft avionics (preferred).
