Electrical Engineer

What you'll do

• Conceptualize, design, and improve production processes for assembly, integration, and testing.
• Lead electrical failure root cause analysis (RCA) and troubleshooting for production modules.
• Drive yield improvements through technical process changes and electrical system leadership.
• Develop standard rework procedures and provide DFM feedback at the PCBA level.
• Investigate and introduce new manufacturing test technologies to enhance production efficiency.
• Execute capacity increase roadmaps through the vision and execution of capital investments for automation.
• Perform production development testing and solve technical blockers directly on the shop floor.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in CAD skills, including being capable of developing an integrated automation layout unassisted.
• 3+ years of experience with electro-optical hardware development, analog and mixed-signal board-level design, and high-speed circuit design.
• 3+ years of experience with design or test of circuit boards with complex microcontrollers, system-on-chip (SOCs), or FPGAs.
• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years’ industry experience (preferred).
• Demonstrated understanding of quality metrics, process characterization, LEAN Manufacturing, DFM/DFT, and Continuous Process Improvement (preferred).
• Knowledge of hardware and software tools for test automation such as NI, dSPACE, Python, C/C++, and Labview (preferred).
• Knowledge of digital interface protocols and data converter electrical characteristics (preferred).
