Director, Technical Shared Services will lead the Technical Shared Services organization, serving as the connective tissue between product, engineering, operations, security, and business stakeholders. This leader is responsible for defining a unified strategy and operating model for enterprise-wide functions including Level 1 and Level 2 Production Support, Release Engineering, Data Services Support, and Enterprise System Access Management. The role involves building scalable processes, establishing service delivery standards like SLAs and KPIs, and driving automation through tooling and AI-enabled capabilities. Key responsibilities include managing incident resolution, overseeing data platform operations, and governing system provisioning and access controls. The candidate must possess expertise in Site Reliability, DevOps, Identity and Access Management, and ITIL practices to improve reliability and efficiency across business-critical applications while modernizing CI/CD pipelines and release management frameworks for the enterprise.
Develop and execute a long-term vision and operating model for the Technical Shared Services organization.
Align multiple teams under a common strategy, service framework, and set of operational standards.
Establish enterprise-wide service delivery standards, including SLAs, KPIs, and performance metrics.
Create scalable processes to automate manual tasks and improve reliability across support and data operations.
Lead Level 1 and Level 2 production support teams to manage incidents and ensure system stability.
Establish a predictable release management framework for deployment governance and change control.
Oversee enterprise data platform operations, including pipelines, reporting services, and integration support.
Manage enterprise identity and access governance in partnership with security and compliance teams.
What we're looking for
Must have 15+ years of experience leading technical operations, support, engineering services, or enterprise technology organizations.
Must have 5+ years of experience leading managers and large cross-functional teams.
Proven experience building or transforming enterprise shared services organizations.
Experience leading functions such as Production Support, Site Reliability, Release Engineering, DevOps, Data Operations, or Identity and Access Management.
Demonstrated success driving organizational change and operating model transformation.
Experience developing service management frameworks, SLAs, operational metrics, and governance processes.
Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred experience with enterprise platforms like Salesforce, ERP, or Data Platforms and familiarity with ITIL, SRE, and Agile methodologies.
