As the Director, Technical Program Management-Monetization, you will join the Ads Quality & Measurement team to lead a critical function within the Monetization organization. Your role involves defining the strategy, operating model, and metrics framework for a portfolio that supports advertiser performance and user relevance. You will drive alignment across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Design, and Go-to-Market teams while managing dependencies and executive communications. The work focuses on solving complex problems in ads systems, machine learning, ranking, recommendation systems, and data platforms. You must demonstrate expertise in using AI to accelerate workflows while ensuring quality and accuracy within these high-stakes technical domains.

What you'll do

  • Lead a team of senior TPMs and individual contributors managing cross-functional programs for ads ranking, match quality, and measurement systems.
  • Define the strategy and vision for the Ads Quality & Measurement TPM function to align advertiser performance with Pinner relevance goals.
  • Drive alignment across Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Design teams to deliver complex technical programs.
  • Establish a metrics and accountability framework to track performance, experimentation results, and delivery signals.
  • Manage high-stakes projects by creating decision frameworks, identifying trade-offs, and managing dependencies for executive leadership.
  • Oversee the organizational operating cadence, including resource planning, launch readiness, risk management, and executive communications.
  • Integrate AI tools into team workflows to accelerate synthesis, reporting, and program execution while ensuring data privacy.
  • Develop a high-performing, AI-first TPM team through coaching, succession planning, and continuous professional development.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical program management or leading multiple company-level programs for business-critical objectives.
  • Minimum of 2 years of people management experience, including leading senior TPMs, managers, or senior ICs.
  • Experience leading large-scale programs in ads, marketplace systems, machine learning, AI, ranking, recommendation systems, experimentation, measurement, or data platforms.
  • Experience setting strategy for a technical function and translating ambiguous business opportunities into measurable outcomes and execution plans.
  • Experience building accountability systems including metric frameworks, roadmap tracking, launch governance, and executive-level reporting.
  • Strong technical judgment and communication skills to influence senior leaders and align multiple organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI to improve work speed and quality while ensuring data privacy and accuracy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Business, or equivalent experience.
