Director, Technical Program Management - Ads Foundations, Supply & Decisioning leads a team of high-performing technical program managers within the Ads Engineering Organization. This leadership role focuses on overseeing complex technical programs across ads foundations, supply, and decisioning domains to support revenue-critical initiatives. The successful candidate will manage the full lifecycle of program execution, including planning, risk mitigation, and resource forecasting while partnering with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Design teams. Recruit, hire, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of Technical Program Managers.
Oversee technical planning and execution for complex programs across Ads Foundations, Supply, and Decisioning domains.
Translate strategic product vision into actionable plans for Engineering, Data Science, and Design teams.
Define and optimize scalable program management processes, KPIs, and best practices to drive operational excellence.
Proactively identify and mitigate technical, operational, and organizational risks across all programs.
Communicate complex technical information and project status clearly to both individual contributors and executive leadership.
Forecast and allocate TPM resources effectively across various initiatives in collaboration with leadership.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
15+ years of experience in technical program management.
At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role managing and mentoring other TPMs.
Deep expertise in ads platforms including supply, demand, real-time decisioning, auction design, targeting, pacing, optimization, and end-to-end architecture.
Proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex technical programs in fast-paced product engineering environments.
Demonstrated experience building, growing, and leading high-performing technical program management teams.
Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex architectural concepts and engineering challenges.
Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
