Director, Technical Integrations - Rentals

What you'll do

• Configure and troubleshoot complex integrations between the Bilt platform and property partner systems.
• Translate client operational needs into documented technical requirements and test plans for engineering teams.
• Serve as the primary escalation contact to triage and resolve production issues during peak periods.
• Identify root causes of system failures by analyzing data patterns and coordinating across cross-functional teams.
• Use AI tools to automate recurring workflows and create playbooks for mitigating production issues.
• Develop technical setup guides and operational documentation to simplify complex processes for partners.
• Monitor integration failure volumes to distinguish between routine noise and genuine system defects.
• Test and validate platform fixes in both backend and client-facing environments before official release.

What we're looking for

• Experience managing complex system integrations in fast-paced environments, preferably within real estate, proptech, or SaaS.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and API testing tools like Postman to validate data and diagnose issues.
• Ability to translate technical concepts such as APIs and backend configurations for non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of driving technical issues from initial identification through to full resolution.
• Experience building automated workflows and scalable processes rather than manual workarounds.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted tools like Claude or Devin for workflow optimization and documentation.
• Experience collaborating in cross-functional capacities across support, product, and engineering teams.
• Background in system implementations, QA, UAT, or end-to-end validation processes is preferred.
