What you'll do

Lead the modernization of authorization platforms from legacy mainframe systems to cloud-native architectures.
Ensure 24x7 availability and operational excellence for Tier-0 mission-critical systems.
Architect and deliver production-grade, containerized applications using AWS, Java, and Micronaut.
Design scalable access control systems using RBAC, ReBAC, JWT-based authorization, and OAuth 2.0.
Develop and implement a multi-year technology strategy for authorization platforms aligned with enterprise priorities.
Manage technical teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver secure and scalable solutions.
Influence strategic backlog prioritization and architectural decisions to enhance security and scalability.
Hire, coach, and develop technical talent while fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's or master's degree with 12+ years of experience in software and cloud infrastructure engineering.
Experience handling incident and problem management for Tier 0 platforms with 24x7 operational excellence.
Proven expertise leveraging AWS cloud services to architect and deliver production-grade, cloud-native systems.
Hands-on experience designing and building containerized applications using Java and Micronaut.
Experience directing technical teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Expertise in RBAC, ReBAC, JWT-based authorization, and OAuth 2.0.
Experience in retail financial markets or another highly regulated industry (preferred).
Experience leveraging AI-assisted tools to improve engineering productivity or workflows (preferred).
