  • Develop and implement a multi-year technology strategy aligned with enterprise priorities.
  • Oversee the development of secure, scalable, and mission-critical applications in an AWS environment.
  • Influence strategic backlog decisions and prioritize tasks for the Brokerage Recordkeeping Technology team.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop technical talent within the engineering organization.
  • Build containerized applications using Java Spring Boot, Micronaut, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Communicate complex technical roadmaps and innovations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's or master's degree.
  • 12 plus years of experience in software and cloud infrastructure engineering across various technology platforms.
  • Strong Java backend API development and public cloud understanding with AWS.
  • Experience directing technical teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Expertise in building containerized applications using Java Spring Boot and Micronaut.
  • Proficiency with Java, Python, Golang, Node JS, Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure Code, Helm, and Terraform.
  • Experience managing products delivered to technical teams.
  • Experience in retail financial markets or another highly regulated industry (preferred).
