What you'll do

  • Lead compute engineering efforts to migrate the Aladdin Platform to cloud and container environments.
  • Design and implement scalable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Pulumi or Crossplane.
  • Develop and maintain distributed microservices using Python, Go, or Java in a Linux environment.
  • Architect and manage enterprise-grade container orchestration platforms for multi-cloud deployments on AWS and Azure.
  • Drive architectural excellence by creating technical documentation such as RFCs and ADRs.
  • Mentor global teams and lead the transition of engineering practices and processes.
  • Monitor system performance and security using industry-standard telemetry and data export frameworks.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 10–15 years of software or systems engineering experience on large-scale systems development and deployment.
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited university (or 4+ years of relevant work experience).
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Go, Java, or similar languages.
  • Experience with Linux environments and enterprise-grade container orchestration platforms supporting declarative infrastructure.
  • Expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools for provisioning cloud resources and managing lifecycle control planes.
  • Proficiency in leading Agile development processes and architectural leadership using industry-accepted best practices like RFC and ADR documents.
  • Experience in Cloud Environments, preferably Azure or AWS (Google Cloud knowledge is also valuable).
  • Team lead skills including experience leading global teams, defining strategic architectures, and implementing process transformations.
