What you'll do

  • Lead a global design team responsible for PCB and PWB designs across multiple project disciplines.
  • Manage project workflows, schedules, and requirements from initial concept through to final production.
  • Define and guide PCB stack-ups, via structures, and design constraints for mechanical and electrical performance.
  • Conduct advanced analyses including signal integrity, power integrity, and design rule verification at each stage.
  • Drive tool automation efforts and process improvements across CAD and QCAE support teams.
  • Perform DFM analysis using tools like Valor or CAM350 to ensure manufacturability and assembly quality.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to designs, tools, and fabrication processes with external vendors.
  • Mentor and develop the CAD design team while serving as a subject matter expert for complex designs.

What we're looking for

  • Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field and 15+ years of PCB layout experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent and 17+ years of PCB layout experience.
  • 12+ years of PCB / PWB team management experience.
  • 15+ years of experience in PCB / PWB design for high-density electronics packaging.
  • 15+ years of experience designing reference designs utilizing latest generation processor chips.
  • Design for Manufacture (DFM) analysis experience utilizing Valor and/or CAM350 tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field (preferred).
  • 16+ years of RF, Mixed Signal, High Speed Digital, and Power PCB design or related experience (preferred).
