What you'll do

Own the strategy and delivery for software-defined platforms underpinning critical Retail Branch systems.
Drive the continued development and evolution of the Software Defined Branch platform.
Build the next-generation Retail Event Management system aligned with the NextGen Workspace strategy.
Set direction and governance for agentic AI-enabled engineering and SDLC automation to improve speed and quality.
Implement AI-native development practices to make AI the default way of working for the engineering team.
Manage the near-term transition of several applications to business partners.
Accountable for coding decisions, budget, tactical operations, and measures of success like cost of ownership and maintainability.
Deliver technical solutions that can be leveraged across multiple businesses and domains.

What we're looking for

Expertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts.
10+ years of applied experience in software engineering.
5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage and solve complex technical items.
Experience developing and leading cross-functional teams of technologists.
Experience with hiring, developing, and recognizing talent.
Experience leading adoption of agentic AI-enabled engineering practices and responsible AI use in engineering workflows.
Hands-on experience building and operating enterprise-scale platforms and AI-native production systems.
Practical cloud native experience.
Experience in financial services or a comparably regulated environment (preferred).
Familiarity with Omnissa (VMware Workspace ONE) or large-scale UEM platforms (preferred).
Background spanning both platform engineering and application delivery (preferred).
Experience leading a major platform modernization or migration (preferred).
