Director, Security Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead multiple teams of security engineers to build and scale enterprise security platforms and tooling.
• Establish the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for security automation and infrastructure resilience.
• Partner with product and engineering executives to embed secure design principles across technology lifecycles.
• Oversee programs that strengthen IAM, data protection, and cloud posture management capabilities.
• Translate strategic security objectives into actionable engineering priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Develop future security leaders through mentorship and structured growth plans.
• Serve as the technical authority for emerging threats by translating risk intelligence into architectural blueprints.

What we're looking for

• High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification.
• At least 9 years of experience in cybersecurity or information technology.
• At least 5 years of experience designing or implementing enterprise-scale security architecture in cloud environments.
• At least 5 years of people management experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience building specialization and expertise in a focused discipline of cybersecurity (preferred).
• 7+ years of experience with CI/CD security integration, infrastructure as code, or serverless computing (preferred).
• 8+ years of experience with security tools such as IAM, endpoint, vulnerability management, or network security technologies (preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in cloud or infrastructure security engineering (preferred).
• 10+ years of experience leading security engineering or platform teams in large-scale environments (preferred).
• Experience in application security and software development in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• CISSP, AWS Security Specialty, CIDPRO, or GIAC Cloud Security certifications (preferred).
