What you'll do

Manage the day-to-day operations, coaching, and performance management of a 6-person MSL team.
Serve as the primary MSL for a designated territory to engage with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
Develop and implement scientific interaction plans for both on-market products and pipeline products.
Provide field coaching through co-rides and one-on-one sessions to improve team scientific storytelling and engagement quality.
Coordinate medical activities with cross-functional teams to ensure a unified approach to meeting business objectives.
Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, training, and professional development of MSL staff members.
Manage operational logistics including budget oversight, expense approvals, vendor contracting, and tool management.
Ensure team compliance with all national, local guidelines, and corporate policies regarding medical activities.

What we're looking for

Advanced degree in health sciences or clinical discipline required.
Doctorate level degree (Pharm D, MD/DO, PhD) is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years clinical, scientific, research, or pharma industry experience required.
Experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) required.
Prior line management of a field-based MSL team is strongly preferred.
Experience as a player-coach or working manager is a distinct advantage.
Experience with OR/surgical suite environments and credentialing processes is strongly preferred.
Ability to travel regularly, approximately 50–60% of the time, is required.
