What you'll do

Manage the day-to-day operations, performance, and professional development of a 6-person MSL team.
Serve as a primary field MSL for a designated territory to engage with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
Develop and implement scientific interaction plans for both on-market products and pipeline products.
Provide coaching and feedback to direct reports through field co-rides and regular performance reviews.
Coordinate medical activities with cross-functional teams to ensure a unified approach to business objectives.
Manage the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new MSL team members.
Oversee operational logistics including budget management, expense approvals, vendor contracting, and tool management.
Ensure all team members maintain necessary certifications and have access to required scientific resources.

What we're looking for

Advanced degree in health sciences or clinical discipline required.
Doctorate level degree (Pharm D, MD/DO, PhD) is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years clinical, scientific/research, or pharma industry experience required.
Experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) required.
Prior line management of a field-based MSL team is strongly preferred.
Experience as a player-coach or working manager is a distinct advantage.
Experience with OR/surgical suite environments and credentialing processes is strongly preferred.
Ability to travel regularly, approximately 50–60% of the time, is required.
