Director, Infrastructure Security Engineer

What you'll do

• Engineer, implement, and support perimeter security controls for global infrastructure.
• Align new and existing security capabilities with corporate policies, standards, and outcomes.
• Coordinate security deployments with business units to minimize service disruptions.
• Execute engineering tasks within an agile framework using sprints and daily scrums.
• Provide tier 4 support during standard hours and participate in an on-call rotation.
• Enhance operational excellence by improving security capabilities and the knowledge base.
• Create technical documentation including engineering specifications, runbooks, and playbooks.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of experience in an IT engineering role.
• Demonstrable experience with IT engineering concepts and systems development lifecycle milestones.
• Experience with on-premises perimeter security controls, such as web proxies and next generation firewalls.
• Experience with cloud-based perimeter security controls, such as WAF, Denial of Service, and Zero Trust products.
• Experience with creating technical documents, including engineering specifications, runbooks, and playbooks.
• 2+ years in an IT Security Role (preferred).
• Basic scripting ability using mainstream languages such as Powershell and Python (preferred).
• AWS and/or Azure certification (preferred).
