Lead Infrastructure Security Engineer, Perimeter Security

What you'll do

• Engineer, implement, and support perimeter security controls across the enterprise.
• Integrate security controls into existing infrastructure using the systems development lifecycle.
• Align new and existing security capabilities with corporate policies and standards.
• Coordinate security deployments with business units to minimize service disruptions.
• Execute engineering tasks within an agile framework using sprints and daily scrums.
• Provide tier 4 technical support during standard and after-hours rotations.
• Create technical documentation including engineering specifications, runbooks, and playbooks.
• Enhance operational excellence by improving security capabilities and the knowledge base.

What we're looking for

• 5 to 10+ years of experience in an IT engineering role.
• Working knowledge of IT engineering concepts and systems development lifecycle milestones.
• Fundamental knowledge of on-premises perimeter security controls like web proxies and next-generation firewalls.
• Fundamental knowledge of cloud-based perimeter security controls including WAF, DoS, and Zero Trust products.
• Experience creating technical documents such as engineering specifications, runbooks, and playbooks.
• 2+ years in an IT Security role (preferred).
• Basic scripting ability using mainstream languages such as PowerShell and Python (preferred).
• AWS and/or Azure certification (preferred).
