Lead Infrastructure Security Engineer, Perimeter Security

What you'll do

• Engineer, implement, and support perimeter security controls for the enterprise.
• Integrate security controls into existing infrastructure while minimizing operational risks.
• Align new and existing capabilities with corporate security policies and standards.
• Coordinate deployment of security measures with business units to prevent service disruptions.
• Manage engineering tasks within an agile framework using JIRA and daily scrums.
• Provide tier 4 technical support during standard and rotating after-hours shifts.
• Enhance operational excellence by improving capability ecosystems and the knowledge base.
• Create technical documentation including engineering specifications, runbooks, and playbooks.

What we're looking for

• 5 to 10+ years of experience in an IT engineering role.
• Working knowledge of IT engineering concepts and systems development lifecycle milestones.
• Fundamental knowledge of on-premises perimeter security controls like web proxies and next generation firewalls.
• Fundamental knowledge of cloud-based perimeter security controls including WAF, DoS, and Zero Trust products.
• Experience creating technical documents such as engineering specifications, runbooks, and playbooks.
• 2+ years in an IT Security role is preferred.
• Basic scripting ability using mainstream languages like PowerShell and Python.
• AWS or Azure certification and proficiency with WAF, NGFW, Secure Web Gateway, or Z-Scaler products are preferred.
