TL;DR · Director, Global CRM and Content Capabilities

The Director, Global CRM and Content Capabilities (DAM, Metadata, Content Intelligence and CRM) joins the Global Commercial Strategy Organization to lead the transformation of how Innovative Medicine manages and activates enterprise content. This leader oversees the DAM librarian function, managing the end-to-end lifecycle of digital assets, metadata governance, and information architecture. Key responsibilities include designing executive-level plans for the CONNEXT program, establishing taxonomy frameworks, and driving content reuse strategies to power omnichannel engagement. The role requires expertise in CRM platforms like Salesforce, DAM systems such as Adobe and Veeva Vault, and tools like Figma. You will solve complex problems regarding content discoverability and AI readiness by building scalable foundations for structured metadata, ensuring that high-quality assets are optimized for global distribution across regulated biopharmaceutical environments.

What you'll do

  • Lead a high-performing team of DAM librarians and metadata specialists to manage enterprise content assets.
  • Establish best-in-class practices for cataloging, taxonomy management, metadata governance, and archival strategies.
  • Serve as the business product owner for the DAM platform, managing roadmaps, backlogs, and vendor relationships.
  • Define and govern enterprise taxonomy frameworks aligned to customer journeys and omnichannel engagement.
  • Execute an enterprise content reuse strategy to reduce redundant production and optimize asset discoverability.
  • Develop metadata schemas to support AI-powered search, content recommendation, and generative AI within the CRM.
  • Partner with global regions to deploy content and ensure interoperability across various digital ecosystems.
  • Monitor platform performance and business impact metrics to continuously improve content utilization and user engagement.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing Operations, or Operations Research.
  • 8+ years of experience in content operations, DAM, marketing operations, or digital asset governance.
  • Deep working knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), DAM (Adobe, Veeva Vault), and asset lifecycle management.
  • Proven experience designing and governing taxonomy, metadata frameworks, and tagging standards.
  • Strong understanding of content creation, approval, and distribution workflows in regulated environments.
  • Experience enabling content measurement through metadata, tagging, and analytics integration.
  • Experience with content technologies (Adobe, Veeva, Figma, etc.) and marketing analytics.
  • Experience leading DAM librarians, CRM specialists, metadata specialists, or information architects (preferred).
