Director, Engineering Operations
The Director, Engineering Operations joins the Lingo team to translate executive vision into actionable technology strategies and measurable outcomes. This leader will build and scale an Engineering Operations team including Technical Project Managers, Systems Engineers, and Support Engineers while driving organizational effectiveness across the Technology function. Key responsibilities include designing operating models, managing vendor relationships, standardizing tools and processes, and overseeing resource allocation and capacity forecasting. The role requires expertise in Lean and Agile methodologies to optimize value streams and ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and ISO standards. Translate long-range business objectives into a prioritized, actionable technology strategy for the engineering leadership team.
Create executive committee presentations that synthesize complex technical narratives into concise communications for senior stakeholders.
Build and lead an Engineering Operations team including Technical Project Managers, Systems Engineers, and Support Engineers.
Design and implement organizational operating models and capability assessments to improve overall team effectiveness.
Identify and resolve structural or cultural barriers that hinder organizational velocity and execution.
Manage relationships with external partners, including strategic vendors and platform providers, to represent the company's technology vision.

What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
15+ years of progressive experience in technology strategy, management consulting, or senior technology leadership roles within complex, matrixed organizations.
Demonstrated success as an executive advisor influencing stakeholders across technology, product, commercial, and finance functions.
Expertise in organizational design, operating model transformation, and building high-performing teams at scale.
Proven ability to execute multi-year technology strategies in regulated, fast-paced environments.
Exceptional executive communication skills for structuring complex narratives for C-suite and board audiences.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing large-scale technology portfolios and ROI frameworks.
Experience in digital health or other highly regulated industries involving HIPAA, GDPR, or FDA oversight.
