Director, Engineering - Digital Experience Monitoring

What you'll do

• Own engineering for one or more Digital Experience Monitoring product areas.
• Manage a large organization of 50-60 engineers through a layer of Engineering Managers.
• Collaborate with product leadership to shape, iterate on, and author the product roadmap.
• Drive AI adoption across engineering tooling, internal workflows, and product features.
• Navigate complex cross-team dependencies across various internal platforms and data science teams.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain engineering talent within the Paris office.
• Mentor Engineering Managers to prepare them for Director-level roles.
• Participate in the on-call rotation for your assigned product area.

What we're looking for

• Experience managing Engineering Managers is a non-negotiable requirement for this role.
• Ability to manage a large organization of 50-60 engineers through a layer of managers.
• Proven track record of shaping product decisions and strategy rather than just executing against specifications.
• Experience working with large-scale, event-driven, or data-intensive backend systems like ingestion pipelines and high-throughput APIs.
• Full-stack or frontend-adjacent experience for SDK-heavy, browser-, and mobile-facing products.
• Ability to integrate AI deeply into engineering leadership, workflows, and product features.
• Proficiency in English to operate within a cross-Atlantic organization.
• Must be based in Paris or willing to relocate to Paris.
