  • Drive architectural alignment across all consumer-facing AI products and internal platforms.
  • Partner with Product, Design, Data Science, and Risk teams to shape long-range roadmaps.
  • Represent the AAX organization in cross-functional and executive forums to align with company goals.
  • Maintain operational excellence including on-call rotations, monitoring, and incident response for all services.
  • Foster a high-performing engineering culture focused on talent development and builder mindsets.

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 5+ years managing managers or leading multi-team engineering organizations.
  • A track record of building and scaling AI/LLM-powered consumer products.
  • Experience hiring, developing, and retaining engineering leaders and building leadership pipelines.
  • Strong technical fundamentals in React Native, Python or Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, and distributed systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate company and product strategy into multi-quarter engineering plans.
  • Excellent executive communication skills to connect organization strategy to business outcomes for senior leaders.
  • Experience partnering with Product, Design, Data Science, and Risk/Compliance in a regulated environment (fintech experience preferred).
