What you'll do

  • Partner with Product, Design, Data Science, and Risk teams to shape long-range roadmaps.
  • Represent the organization in executive forums to connect engineering work to company-wide strategy.
  • Maintain strong operational practices including on-call, monitoring, and incident response for all services.
  • Cultivate a high-performing culture with clear talent, performance, and career development practices.

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of experience managing managers or leading multi-team engineering organizations.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling AI/LLM-powered consumer products.
  • Experience hiring, developing, and retaining engineering leaders including TLMs and Staff+ ICs.
  • Strong technical fundamentals in React Native, Python or Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, and distributed systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate company and product strategy into multi-quarter engineering plans.
  • Excellent executive communication skills to connect organizational strategy to business outcomes.
  • Experience partnering with Product, Design, Data Science, and Risk/Compliance functions in a regulated environment (fintech experience a strong plus).
