What you'll do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive risk-based compliance strategy for digital and technology initiatives.
  • Ensure technology systems comply with regulatory requirements including GxP, SOX, Privacy, and Security standards.
  • Define governance frameworks and operating models to drive organizational risk decisions.
  • Manage audit and inspection readiness by establishing proactive controls and implementing remediation plans.
  • Provide CGRC consultancy and expert guidance to internal teams regarding technology solution compliance.
  • Develop performance metrics and reports to track and improve compliance outcomes across digital lines.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to automate, simplify, and streamline complex technical processes.
  • Manage a team of direct reports while influencing executive stakeholders on risk management matters.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree required in a relevant discipline such as Information Security, IT, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industries supporting IT initiatives.
  • Experience working through a highly matrixed organization to support and drive key initiatives.
  • Experience implementing controls aligned with pharmaceutical regulations and requirements like GMP, GxP, SOX, and privacy laws.
  • Excellent communication skills to define problems and deliver options for addressing compliance gaps.
  • Strong stakeholder management and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Demonstrated experience in an agile work environment with a collaborative mindset and proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Work authorization in the United States.
