The Director, Business and Data Analytics - P&C Pricing Analytics serves as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders and technology partners to support enterprise pricing objectives. This role leads requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and portfolio management across a complex pricing data ecosystem for Auto and Property lines of business. The position involves overseeing data storage, preparation, exploration, information governance, and analytics delivery while translating business needs into actionable technical requirements. Key responsibilities include managing work intake, prioritizing demand, and influencing data and application architecture decisions. The successful candidate will utilize skills in statistics, mathematics, or operations research to conduct large-scale data analysis. Core competencies include people leadership, Agile methodologies, and deep business knowledge of insurance pricing and actuarial functions to solve complex data and technology challenges.
Translate complex business needs into actionable technical requirements for data and analytics solutions.
Lead requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement for the enterprise pricing data ecosystem.
Manage a portfolio of concurrent initiatives including intake prioritization and dependency management.
Partner with Pricing and Actuarial teams to align data solutions with enterprise pricing objectives.
Oversee the strategy for delivering information and analytics platforms to key business stakeholders.
Provide strategic insights and thought leadership to senior leaders regarding data and application architecture.
Identify and pursue advanced data delivery techniques to optimize business problem resolution.

What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, or a quantitative field; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
8 years of data and analytics experience within a complex financial services organization.
3 years of people leadership experience building, managing, and developing high-performing teams.
Experience leading projects using Agile methodologies.
Experience conducting moderately large scale data analysis using internal and external data to support business decision making.
Experience partnering with Pricing, Pricing Analytics, and/or Actuarial organizations, preferably within Property & Casualty Insurance (preferred).
Experience leading requirements gathering and translating complex business needs into data and technology solutions (preferred).
Experience managing a portfolio of multiple concurrent initiatives, including intake prioritization and stakeholder alignment (preferred).
