What you'll do

Lead and manage application development efforts for large-scale initiatives across multiple platforms.
Define and implement application-level architecture for complex projects, components, and subsystems.
Oversee the delivery of complex initiatives to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
Provide technical strategy, architectural direction, and risk management advice to senior management.
Plan and coordinate schedules, assignments, and resource needs across complex multi-project portfolios.
Mentor junior team members through ongoing technical guidance, coaching, and performance development.
Architect enterprise-level, multi-cloud applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Amazon EKS.
Create and maintain multi-year product technology roadmaps to drive senior management alignment.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Information Systems, or a related field and six years of experience as a Director, Architecture.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Information Systems, or a related field and four years of experience as a Director, Architecture.
Experience designing and developing scalable and resilient architectures in a financial services environment using AWS and Azure cloud technologies.
Expertise architecting enterprise-level, multi-cloud applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).
Expertise architecting highly available applications using Java or Python, REST Web services, Oracle, DynamoDB, and AWS native technologies.
Expertise creating and maintaining multi-year product technology road maps using Visio and PowerPoint.
Expertise deploying 12-factor, containerized RESTful APIs using Spring Framework and Docker.
