Digital Manufacturing Data & AI Consultant | Life Sciences joins the Supply Chain & Engineering practice to deliver AI-enabled transformations for pharmaceutical, biotech, medical technology, and consumer health clients. This role focuses on manufacturing, quality, and supply chain functions by designing future-state processes that integrate Agentic Experience (AX) principles, where human and AI agent interactions are intentionally designed. You will build low-code proof of concepts, develop analytical frameworks using AI-assisted visualization tools, and implement solutions like predictive maintenance, digital twins, and intelligent automation. Key technical requirements include proficiency in Gen AI tools, big data technologies, ontology, and AI/ML frameworks. You will also manage data strategy across ERP, PLM, MES, and logistics platforms while navigating GxP regulatory considerations to ensure high-quality, AI-ready data for manufacturing use cases within the life sciences domain.
Analyze client current states by assessing processes, technology tools, and organizational structures to design data-driven future states.
Design future-state process specifications that include AI integration points, operating model changes, and human-machine interaction requirements.
Create low-code proof of concepts, agents, and other artifacts using relevant AI tools for deliverable creation.
Build analytical frameworks and data-driven assessments using AI-assisted visualization and analysis tools.
Apply AX Design principles to define how AI agents should behave, act autonomously, or hand off tasks to humans.
Translate business challenges into AI/ML use cases and scale these solutions to the enterprise level.
Support data strategy, governance, and architecture to ensure high-quality, AI-ready supply chain data across various platforms.
Develop business case frameworks to quantify AI-driven cost reductions, service improvements, and sustainability impacts.
What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years of experience in process excellence, process redesign, or management consulting.
Minimum 1 year using AI-assisted analytics, visualization, Gen AI tools for content generation, and low-fi user interfaces.
Minimum 1 year of integrating AI and automating business process design.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a consulting environment or within specific industries like Life Sciences, Consumer Goods, Energy, Utilities, or Chemicals.
Bachelor's degree required, or an associate degree with at least 6 years of work experience (minimum 12 years total for those without a degree).
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
Familiarity with process mapping or modeling tools (preferred).
Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex findings in clear business terms (preferred).
