What you'll do

Conduct operational assessments to diagnose inefficiencies in material flow, storage utilization, labor models, and automation maturity.
Design future-state distribution center layouts and material handling strategies including ASRS, AMR fleets, and automated labeling.
Build simulation models and process analyses to validate design decisions and stress-test capacity scenarios.
Develop financial value cases to justify capital investments and secure executive sign-off for project funding.
Manage capital project workstreams including design milestones, vendor coordination, and commissioning activities like IQ/OQ/PQ.
Ensure integrated solutions meet regulatory requirements and pass inspections in FDA or EMA environments.
Create operational readiness plans, staffing models, and KPI frameworks to sustain performance after go-live.
Use data analytics and dashboards to monitor progress and drive a continuous improvement culture with clients.

What we're looking for

Must have 3+ years of hands-on experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics engineering roles with direct accountability for outcomes.
Must have experience optimizing brownfield DC operations including flow redesign, throughput improvement, and cost reduction in live environments.
Must have experience designing new or expanded DC facilities, including floorplan development and integration of automation systems.
Must have experience in life sciences or pharmaceutical industries, specifically within cGMP environments and regulated environments like FDA or EMA.
Must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years of work experience).
Must have an Associate degree with at least 6 years of work experience if a Bachelor's degree is not held.
Preferred proficiency in data-driven decision making using tools such as Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or Alteryx.
Preferred Lean or continuous improvement certification (Green Belt or higher) and experience leading commissioning activities (IQ/OQ/PQ).
