The Digital Business Analyst joins the Global Services Engineering Application Team within the Service Options group. This role supports the Speed to Quote initiative by developing a centralized customer hub that integrates three existing applications into a single capability within the Service Information System. You will engage stakeholders to elicit and document functional requirements, translating business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria using Azure DevOps. Key responsibilities include facilitating workshops, managing backlogs, and collaborating with engineers to validate features involving React, Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs. You will also create AI Agentic custom skills for documentation and oversee User Acceptance Testing. The role requires expertise in process mapping, JSON data structures, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 to solve complex service option data management problems.
Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders, product owners, and UX designers.
Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications within Azure DevOps.
Create and utilize AI Agentic custom skills to generate structured user stories and functional requirements.
Identify gaps, conflicting requirements, and process dependencies across upstream and downstream systems.
Maintain traceability between business requirements, solution designs, testing, and implementation throughout the lifecycle.
Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum delivery model.
Support backlog refinement and sprint planning by ensuring stories are well-defined and prioritized.
Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to validate features and define test scenarios for User Acceptance Testing.
What we're looking for
Knowledge of business analysis tasks, techniques, and tools to identify business needs and recommend value-driven solutions.
Knowledge of decision-making processes and the ability to analyze situations to reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Understanding of effective communication concepts to transmit, receive, and interpret ideas and needs accurately.
Knowledge of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, tasks, tools, and techniques to design and evaluate acceptance tests.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience (preferred).
Experience in technical, product, business analyst, or solution delivery roles bridging business and technology teams (preferred).
Strong understanding of application development concepts, system integrations, APIs, and JSON-based data structures (preferred).
Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements for software solutions (preferred).
