DevOps Software Engineer III, CI/CD Release Automation

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain high-quality production code and algorithms for secure, scalable payments platforms.
• Create and manage Jenkins pipelines using Groovy and shell scripting for build, test, and deployment automation.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring all design constraints are met.
• Analyze CI/CD telemetry and large datasets to identify patterns and improve system reliability and coding hygiene.
• Support end-to-end operational stability through incident triage, root-cause analysis, and administration of Jenkins and Spinnaker.
• Embed cybersecurity controls into pipelines, including secrets handling and least-privilege access for regulated workloads.
• Utilize AI coding assistant tools to generate, refactor, and document code while validating outputs for security and performance.

What we're looking for

• Formal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
• Proficient in coding in one or more languages with strong hands-on capability in Groovy and shell scripting (Bash).
• Strong experience building and maintaining Jenkins CI solutions including Jenkinsfiles, shared libraries, and agent execution patterns.
• Experience with continuous delivery tooling including Spinnaker for pipeline configuration, deployments, and environment promotion.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud security fundamentals such as IAM, networking, and encryption.
• Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools to generate, validate, and refine code and documentation.
• Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, and secure handling of inputs and outputs in engineering workflows.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and integrating security gates into CI/CD (preferred).
