As a DevOps Software Engineer III on the Branch Technologies Team, you will join an agile team to design and deliver secure, stable, and scalable technology products. You are responsible for executing software solutions, troubleshooting complex problems, and producing architecture artifacts while ensuring code meets specific design constraints. Your daily work involves creating high-quality production code, maintaining algorithms, and analyzing large datasets to improve system architecture and coding hygiene. You will utilize enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools to enhance delivery speed and quality through refactoring and unit test creation. The role requires proficiency in modern programming languages, database querying, and the Software Development Life Cycle. Key technical competencies include cloud infrastructure management, SRE tasks, CI/CD pipelines, application resiliency, and security protocols within a large corporate environment focused on high-quality software delivery.
Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain synchronized algorithms.
Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring code meets design constraints.
Analyze large datasets to create visualizations and reports for continuous system improvement.
Identify hidden patterns in data to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
Utilize enterprise-authorized AI tools to generate, refactor, and document code while validating outputs for security.
Implement automation capabilities within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to increase delivery value.
What we're looking for
3+ years of experience in doing DevOps, production SRE tasks, maintaining cloud infrastructure, and ensuring environment stability.
Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools to create, troubleshoot, and document code while validating outputs for security and performance.
Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and secure handling of inputs/outputs.
Proficiency in coding in one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline like cloud, AI, or machine learning.
