The Device Integration Software System Architect joins the ITD Digital System Architecture and User Experience team as an individual contributor. This role focuses on defining strategy, architecture, and user experience for integrating intelligent devices within a Connected Enterprise ecosystem. Key responsibilities include establishing device management standards, developing capability models, and creating architecture frameworks to simplify configuration processes. The architect will lead integration strategies across teams, manage the Device Management Architecture roadmap, and provide technical leadership for control systems and software architectures. Essential skills include proficiency in object-oriented design and multiple programming languages used in industrial automation. Candidates should possess expertise in manufacturing and industrial systems such as MES, CMMS, PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI, ERP, and Asset Management platforms. The role addresses the challenge of streamlining device data management and improving product usability for complex industrial operations.
