As a Distinguished Engineer, System Software Integration, you will join the team to lead the development of DGX Cloud strategy for full stack integration. You will architect the seamless interface between accelerated hardware and software stacks to deliver bare metal and virtualized computing across enterprise, sovereign, and neocloud environments. Your daily responsibilities include defining technical strategies for control and data plane systems, managing the full software lifecycle from ideation to operations, and integrating shared memory, storage, and networking systems across IaaS and PaaS layers. You will utilize expertise in low-level systems integration, firmware, operating systems, and virtualization to solve complex infrastructure challenges. The role requires proficiency in multi-tenant datacenter architectures and cloud-native technologies like Linux, Kubernetes, CAPI, KubeVirt, and Kata to provide high performance and transparency for accelerated computing workloads.
Architect the interface between accelerated hardware and software stacks to deliver bare metal and virtualized computing.
Define and drive technical strategies for full stack integration across enterprise, sovereign, and neocloud datacenter environments.
Develop control and data plane systems to enable on-demand, scalable, and metered access to accelerated hardware.
Lead the integration of shared memory, storage, and networking systems across IaaS and PaaS layers.
Manage the full software and system lifecycle from initial architecture and design through deployment and operations.
Establish product definitions and roadmaps for delivering full stack accelerated computing at scale.
Ensure robust connectivity and high availability for infrastructure delivered in diverse, high-security environments.
What we're looking for
Experience in technical roles focused on low-level systems integration including hardware, firmware, operating systems, and virtualization.
7-10+ years of leadership experience.
BS/MS or higher degree (or equivalent) in systems engineering, software engineering, or related fields.
Technical proficiency in multi-tenant datacenter and cloud-native architectures with deep understanding of full stack connectivity for bare metal and virtualization.
Proven success delivering complex solutions providing transparency into resource utilization, performance, and operational insights.
Ability to synthesize cross-functional needs into architecture while guiding execution across diverse teams.
Strong collaboration and influence skills to lead engineering engagement and communicate with partners and customers.
Experience building systems for AI/ML workloads (preferred); experience in enterprise/cloud environments (preferred); familiarity with open source infrastructure projects (preferred).
