JOB TITLE: Distinguished Engineer, System Software Integration
As a technology leader, you will join the team responsible for the DGX Cloud strategy to lead full stack integration. You will architect the seamless interface between accelerated hardware and software stacks, delivering bare metal and virtualized accelerated computing hardware to users. Your daily responsibilities include defining control and data plane systems for on-demand, scalable, and metered hardware, while driving technical strategy across enterprise, sovereign, and neocloud environments. You will manage the full software and system lifecycle, focusing on hardware-software boundary engineering, shared memory, storage, and networking systems. The role requires expertise in low-level systems integration, including firmware, operating systems, and virtualization. You must demonstrate proficiency in multi-tenant datacenter architectures, cloud-native designs, and open source ecosystems like Linux, Kubernetes, CAPI, KubeVirt, and Kata.
Architect the seamless interface between accelerated hardware and software stacks for bare metal and virtualized computing.
Define and drive the technical strategy for full stack integration across enterprise, sovereign, and neocloud datacenter environments.
Develop control and data plane systems to enable on-demand, scalable, and metered accelerated computing hardware.
Lead the technical integration of shared memory, storage, and networking systems across IaaS and PaaS layers.
Guide the technical delivery of robust full stack connectivity across high-security private and public cloud infrastructures.
Manage the full software and system lifecycle from initial ideation and architecture through deployment and operations.
Establish product definitions and roadmaps to deliver full stack accelerated computing at scale.
What we're looking for
Experience in technical roles focusing on low-level systems integration, hardware, firmware, operating systems, and virtualization.
7-10+ years of leadership experience.
BS/MS or higher or equivalent experience in systems/software engineering or related engineering fields.
Technical proficiency in multi-tenant datacenter and cloud-native architectures with deep understanding of full stack connectivity for bare metal and virtualization.
Proven success delivering high-impact technically complex solutions with transparency into resource utilization, performance, and operational insights.
Ability to synthesize cross-functional needs into architecture and design while guiding internal execution across diverse teams.
Strong collaboration and influence skills to lead engineering engagement and communicate with peers, partners, and customers.
Real-world experience building systems to support AI/ML workloads (preferred).
