Deputy Head of Production, Connected Warfare will join the Connected Warfare team to oversee the production of the company's Connected Warfare product line at the Arsenal-1 manufacturing facility. This role involves owning short-to-mid-term strategic development, managing ramp plans and headcount, and scaling production volumes to full-rate levels. The individual will lead cross-functional teams across supply chain, quality, and manufacturing engineering while ensuring compliance with AS9100D guidelines. Key responsibilities include driving operational excellence through KPIs for financial and quality metrics, as well as overseeing the implementation of digital technologies including PLM, ERP, MES, and QMS systems. The role focuses on solving complex manufacturing challenges within the aerospace and defense sector, specifically transitioning products from low-rate prototypes to high-rate production environments while managing intricate supply chains for robotics and advanced electromechanical components.
Own all production outcomes for the Connected Warfare product line, including ramp plans and new manufacturing lines.
Develop and execute long-term strategies to scale production volumes to full-rate levels.
Lead cross-functional teams across supply chain, quality, and engineering to meet aggressive deadlines.
Manage team performance against key indicators for finance, quality, and on-time delivery.
Enforce a "quality-first" culture in compliance with AS9100D guidelines.
Oversee the implementation of digital technologies like PLM, ERP, MES, and QMS to scale operations.
Advise on corporate tools and processes to support unique aerospace production requirements.
What we're looking for
Must have 8+ years of experience overseeing the production and test of complex electromechanical products.
Must have experience managing large manufacturing teams of over 100 people and leading cross-functional teams.
Must have a background in quality assurance with accountability to AS9100D standards.
Must have experience operating in both low-rate prototype and high-rate manufacturing environments.
Must be able to manage multiple large projects simultaneously at a rapid pace.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
Must be able to work onsite five days a week at the Asheville, OH campus.
Experience scaling production in high-complexity environments, aerospace supply chains, or implementing digital manufacturing technologies (PLM, ERP, MES, QMS) is preferred.
