The Dell Business Development Lead - Server Platforms serves as a critical interface between internal product management, sales, marketing, and engineering teams to drive engagement with the Dell Technologies Enterprise Team. This role focuses on winning new Dell platforms by supporting sell-in activities, managing sample tracking, and translating complex server value propositions into compelling presentations for Dell’s product management organization. The successful candidate will manage business execution tasks such as tracking NRE spend and monitoring project milestones while coordinating cross-functional efforts to support platform launches. Key requirements include technical credibility in server products, experience with OEMs or hyperscalers, and the ability to navigate complex partner programs. The role requires strong communication skills to align diverse stakeholders on product positioning, competitive analysis, and the integration of Dell’s specific hardware requirements into actionable engineering inputs.

What you'll do

  • Serve as the primary AMD interface for all Dell server product and platform engagement activities.
  • Drive sell-in and design-win efforts to secure new platforms and expand AMD's presence within Dell portfolios.
  • Translate technical AMD product capabilities into compelling business presentations and value propositions for Dell stakeholders.
  • Manage sample tracking, including requirements, status, allocation, and delivery for partner needs.
  • Synthesize Dell platform requirements and feedback into actionable inputs for AMD product management and engineering teams.
  • Develop competitive messaging and positioning to support successful sell-in discussions with the Dell GAM team.
  • Monitor execution milestones, risks, and dependencies related to Dell platform opportunities and new product introductions.
  • Provide regular reports to AMD leadership regarding design-win progress, sample status, and business risks.

What we're looking for

  • Experience working with OEMs, server platforms, product management, sales, marketing, or business development teams.
  • Ability to translate technical product capabilities into clear customer-facing value propositions.
  • Strong program management and tracking skills to manage action items, deliverables, risks, and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.
  • Experience working with OEMs, hyperscalers, enterprise server customers, or technology partners (preferred).
  • Understanding of server product development including platforms, systems, processors, software enablement, and solution-level positioning (preferred).
  • Experience supporting sell-in motions, design-win campaigns, partner business reviews, or customer product planning discussions (preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred); MBA or advanced technical degree is a plus.
