Senior Systems Software Engineer, Data Center Platform Enablement

What you'll do

• Develop and validate designs for NVIDIA AI server systems including CPU, GPU, memory, and networking components.
• Influence hardware system design by reviewing schematics and board layouts to optimize performance.
• Conduct hands-on debug and support of early server prototypes during bring-up phase in data center labs.
• Ensure manufacturing processes are optimized with firmware updates and diagnostic procedures for mass deployment.
• Resolve complex technical issues through root cause analysis, collaborating with partners and customers for effective solutions.

What we're looking for

• Strong experience in computer system and firmware architecture for server products.
• Solid understanding of low-level interfaces like I2C/SPI/PCIe/JTAG between SBIOS, BMC, and OS.
• Experience working closely with hardware teams, ODMs, and vendors to support server platforms.
• Hands-on debugging skills in embedded Linux operating environments using C/C++ and scripting languages.
• Expertise in simulation and emulation tools for early design validation and AI tool integration.
• Proven ability to lead and tackle challenging issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 8+ years of experience.
