As a DELIVERY LEAD - DATA AND AI, you will join the Compass Data & AI team to drive the strategy, planning, and delivery of enterprise-wide data, analytics, AI, and reporting initiatives. You will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex priorities into actionable requirements for Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, Architecture, and Product Management groups. Your daily work involves managing intake, coordinating multi-team activities, removing blockers, and ensuring compliance with governance and security standards. To succeed, you must possess strong analytical skills and experience in product management or delivery coordination. You will utilize tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira to manage workflows. Preferred technical competencies include Snowflake, dbt, SQL, Power BI, Secoda, and supporting enterprise functions like supply chain, finance, and operations within a data-driven environment.
Lead the intake, planning, and coordination of enterprise Data & AI initiatives from concept through delivery.
Translate business priorities into actionable requirements and implementation plans for technical teams.
Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical engineering teams to ensure alignment.
Coordinate delivery activities across multiple projects by identifying dependencies and removing blockers using Jira or Azure DevOps.
Partner with Data Governance, Security, and Legal teams to manage data access, metadata, and compliance.
Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to leadership and business stakeholders.
Improve organizational processes for delivery, stakeholder engagement, and portfolio planning.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
4–6+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Delivery Management, Business Analysis, Program Coordination, Analytics Delivery, or similar roles.
Experience partnering with both business and technical teams to deliver analytics, reporting, AI, or cloud data platform solutions.
Ability to translate business objectives into clear requirements, implementation plans, and actionable work for technical teams.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex business problems using data.
Experience with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, dbt, SQL, Power BI, or similar technologies (preferred).
Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, data catalog platforms, or enterprise data management practices (preferred).
