What you'll do

Architect, scale, and evolve data infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments.
Operate and scale distributed data platforms including Cassandra, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and Redis.
Design and manage hybrid or multi-cloud architectures using AWS data services.
Build reusable, scalable automation using infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Deploy and operate containerized database workloads on Kubernetes in production environments.
Perform database query optimization, cluster tuning, capacity planning, and failure analysis.
Design and execute HA/DR strategies and zero-downtime migrations for large-scale infrastructure.
Develop Python scripts for automation, operational tooling, and platform workflows.

What we're looking for

5+ years of experience operating and scaling distributed data platforms like Cassandra, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and Redis in production.
Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects independently from scoping and design through delivery and post-launch ownership.
Deep expertise with AWS data services and experience designing hybrid or multi-cloud architectures.
Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Ansible, Crossplane, or equivalent to build reusable automation.
Experience deploying and operating containerized database workloads on Kubernetes in production.
Solid Python skills for automation, operational tooling, and platform workflows.
Deep understanding of database internals including query optimization, cluster tuning, capacity planning, and failure analysis.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
