Database Administrator

What you'll do

• Administer, maintain, upgrade, and optimize databases to address technical debt.
• Design, maintain, and improve database schemas and data models.
• Develop solutions for extracting, transforming, and loading heterogeneous datasets.
• Define formats and structures for data exports and imports.
• Define APIs to share data including endpoints, authentication, authorization, and segmentation.
• Manage multiple database instances to ensure data consistency across the platform.
• Support CI/CD automation, code promotion, and deployment operations.
• Document database designs, implementations, and interactions with other systems.

What we're looking for

• Must have a Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience, a Master's with 6 years, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
• Must possess a DoD TS/SCI security clearance and be able to obtain a DoD TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Must hold Security+ and cloud certifications to qualify for Privileged User Account access.
• Must be an AWS Cloud Practitioner certified professional.
• Requires 3+ years of experience administering databases including SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
• Requires 3+ years of experience in database scripting using command line interfaces.
• Requires 3+ years of hands-on experience in designing database schemas, data models, and performance tuning.
• Must have experience managing multiple database instances across both on-premises and cloud platforms.
