What you'll do

Design, develop, and maintain domain-specific ontologies to enable semantic representation of data inputs.
Build and maintain knowledge graphs to support data querying, visualization, and intelligence integration.
Apply semantic web standards including RDF, OWL, and SPARQL to model entities and relationships.
Lead the development of algorithms and systems to turn disparate data into objective answers.
Translate complex client questions into actionable data analysis to support informed decision-making.
Optimize data queries using protocols such as GraphQL, SPARQL, SHACL, and SQL.
Evaluate and automate ontology generation using qualitative and quantitative metrics.

What we're looking for

Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph exam.
Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining domain-specific ontologies.
12+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining domain-specific ontologies in lieu of a degree.
Experience designing, developing, and maintaining knowledge graphs to support data querying, visualization, and intelligence integration.
Experience applying semantic web standards such as RDF, OWL, and SPARQL to model entities and vocabularies.
Experience collaborating to enhance semantic data retrieval via GraphQL, SPARQL, SHACL, and SQL (preferred).
Experience evaluating and validating efforts to automate ontology generation using qualitative and quantitative metrics (preferred).
Ability to work a non-standard or shift schedule (preferred).
