What you'll do

Develop predictive models to identify potential user terminal failures in the field.
Create statistical and analytical tools to support regression decisions from on-orbit and lab measurements.
Manage datasets for the pre-training and supervised fine-tuning of Large Language Models (LLMs).
Build scalable visualizations to analyze and communicate user terminal performance data.
Use data as a primary tool to root-cause hardware and software failures with engineering teams.
Drive consensus on metrics and analysis approaches to support product development strategy.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
Master's degree in a STEM field or equivalent professional experience in STEM fields.
3+ years of experience with data querying languages (SQL), scripting languages (Python), or statistical software (R, SAS, Matlab).
3+ years of experience with machine learning and statistical modeling tools, techniques, and performance parameters.
Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment.
Experience conducting and documenting trade studies and design trades.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to work in a team and deliver results.
Ph.D. in STEM (preferred); experience with GenAI benchmarks, large tech company roles, or cross-disciplinary projects (preferred).
