As a Data Quality Analyst (CDGC / Informatica) within the Global Information Systems Group, you will translate data governance standards into scalable technical implementations to improve enterprise-wide data trust and usability. You will perform hands-on tasks including implementing data quality rules, performing profiling, and managing metadata, lineage, and business glossaries. Your daily work involves collaborating with SAP teams and data engineers to manage Customer, Supplier, Material, and Finance master data domains while ensuring reliable data for analytics and AI initiatives. The role requires expertise in Informatica CDGC, IDQ, and IDMC, alongside strong SQL skills for developing ETL pipelines. You will also build scorecards and dashboards using Power BI to monitor data health. This position addresses the critical challenge of ensuring high-quality, governed data across complex enterprise systems and downstream reporting platforms.
Translate business data quality rules into technical implementations using Informatica IDQ/IDMC, SQL validations, and profiling rules.
Implement data validation, cleansing, standardization, and MDM survivorship rules across enterprise data domains.
Partner with SAP functional teams to monitor and manage Customer, Supplier, Material, and Finance master data.
Configure CDGC capabilities including metadata ingestion, catalog enrichment, business glossary mapping, and data product registration.
Validate technical and business data lineage across SAP and downstream platforms for traceability and impact analysis.
Develop and maintain data quality scorecards and dashboards using Power BI and other reporting tools.
Embed automated validation checks and control gates within IDMC and SQL-based data pipelines.
Perform root cause analysis on data defects and execute regression testing to implement structural improvements.
What we're looking for
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (or related field) with 8 years of experience, a Master's with 6 years, or a PhD with 3 years.
5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in data quality, metadata management, master data management, data engineering, or governance-focused technical roles.
Extensive experience with Informatica Cloud Data Governance & Catalog (CDGC) for metadata curation, dataset onboarding, and data quality rule mapping.
Hands-on experience with Informatica IDQ, IDMC, or similar tools for profiling, validation, and implementing scorecards.
Strong working knowledge of SAP master data domains including Customer, Supplier, Material, and Finance.
Proficiency in SQL and experience developing or supporting ETL and SQL-based data pipelines.
Experience performing data profiling, root cause analysis (RCA), regression testing, and remediation tracking.
Ability to develop and maintain data quality scorecards and dashboards using Power BI or similar visualization tools.
