What you'll do

  • Translate enterprise data governance decisions into actionable requirements and execution plans for technical and business teams.
  • Develop and maintain data governance metrics, KPI frameworks, dashboards, and maturity scorecards to track progress.
  • Manage JIRA work tracking, including backlog visibility, status reporting, dependency tracking, and capacity planning.
  • Perform fit-gap analyses and readiness assessments to ensure data systems align with established governance standards.
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational improvements.
  • Serve as a primary liaison between domain owners, architecture teams, and platform teams to ensure consistent policy adoption.
  • Provide executive-ready reporting on governance progress, risk trends, and recommended actions for leadership.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as data science, information systems, supply chain, or business analytics.
  • Master's degree in a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, data processes, business analysis, operations, and technology-enabled process improvement.
  • Experience analyzing complex datasets to identify trends and translate insights into business recommendations.
  • Experience working with both business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and document processes.
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, scorecards, metrics, or KPI measurements.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Python.
  • Experience using JIRA or similar work-management tools to track work items, status, dependencies, and risks.
